American Film Institute’s
All Films Alphabetically
The American Film Institute (AFI) celebrated the centennial of cinema by airing a number of television specials, each honoring a different aspect of excellence in American film. Below are all of the films from all ten AFI programs, listed alphabetically. Beneath each film are the rankings received in each show.
For the “100 Heroes & Villains” program, the ranking includes an H or V to denote whether the ranking was for ‘Hero’ or ‘Villain’.
For the “10 Top 10” program, the rankings include letters to denote the genre the ranking applies to:
A | = Animation | M | = Mystery |
CD | = Courtroom Drama | RC | = Romantic Comedy |
E | = Epic | SF | = Science Fiction |
F | = Fantasy | S | = Sports |
G | = Gangster | W | = Western |
